Getting Bigger

Caden is growing up, and that is kind of scary. I can't believe our little man will be 2 in less then 2 months. He has recently taken an obsession with watching movies, especially Follow that Bird! For those of you who aren't familiar with this Sesame Street Classic, you can come by any afternoon and it's sure to be on. I actually had the record of this growing up. The Record case actually was a fold out board game that you played along with the story. It's been really fun to see Caden get so excited about it. Then it got old quickly as we were watching 2-3 times a day. We've recently tried to get him watching other movies but so far Fraggle Rock is the only other DVD that he'll sit down to watch. As a compromise we pulled out our portable DVD player that we got for me on those long bus rides when I was still playing basketball. Caden loves it! He looks for it saying "Watch!, Watch!" The other afternoon Caden got comfy next to mom and watched some Sesame Street. It was really cute.

This movie is so exciting!

The other day we went to the Apple store in Greensboro just to look around. They had a table set up just for kids. Caden sat down on the ball and went straight to work. He was very upset when we had to leave.

"Let's see.....espn.com"

"See, I can work too"

"I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!"

Not to be outdone, Brielle wanted to show how happy she was that her brother finally has something to distract him other than smothering her.
